Why do you think that spelling grammar is the common problem among some mapmakers. What is their motivation? Who or what is their paradox.
They are not zealous enough.

there lazy so they don finish thins.
When making map use good grammer, spelling, and punctuation. Please!
Maybe it's done with a purpose? It might be more fun in it were, say, someone in the game speaking. But I guess I would like certain things to be spelled right in maps..

Wouldn't it be 'proper grammar' or 'correct grammar'?
'Good' grammar just doesn't sound right...
But, anyways, ya, people are just so frickin' lazy that they can't bother themselves to use 1/1000 the energy it'll take the dozens to hundreds of people that will read their posts collectively to hit one extra key.
I say good, then it isn't so formal and perfect. You want to make it sound like you would talk.
you wouldn't (verbally) say "O M G! IT WAS HAX0RED!" or something like that... you would say something more like "Oh my god! It was hacked!"
Farty, your post made just about no sense whatsoever...
I say "Oh my god, it was haxxored" in real life...

but you don't say the letters and stuff. And I also don't commonly see people use perfect grammer, they use good grammer.
Since I'm an obsessive freak, I will, close to always, have correct spelling and grammar.
They obviously don't read what they write over... I profread my maps and am always amazed how many typos I make intially rushing to type out the text. Course it seems like alot of map makers don't even check for bugs adequately before releasing... I suspect it all boils down to lazyness or else lack of ability to spell or English being their 2nd or 3rd language.
I'm crazy person with testing bugs. I add like 1 VERY minor thing, I have to play the entire map just to see if its bug free.... If thats not crazy, i dont know what is!
I do the same thing... its not crazy its making sure you don't have a buncha buggy versions floating around b.net. Anyhow sometimes fixes don't work like you'd think so testing like that is mandantory.. .in my book anyhow

.
Plus, spelling everything out real nice, makes it look like a very well made proffesional map, making even the most boring of maps get something for simply being organized as such.
I mean I test even if I add something as little as 1 zergling on a beacon...
Or maybe I add something like put a color in a units name, something so simple and tiney that you would have to be some old person to not know hwat your doing....
I think the more obvious problem is the lack of motivation and determination. Spelling and grammar isn't so bad on SEN as it was, it's more blatant on Battle.net.
Hes talking about in maps.

It's mainly the 'lack of ability to spell'.
Look at map descriptions, briefings, and so forth.
All the time, you'll see "are" instead of our, "to" instead of "too", any sort of mix-ups between "thought", "though", "thorough", and "through", double/quadruple-period-ellipsi(it's supposed to be triple), "its" instead of "it's" and "it's" instead of "its", "tru" instead of "through", and so forth.
Spelling and Grammar is the most vital part on our life.
It can be mistaken by means of wrong spelling.
For example, i had read a post in map showcase that says:
"I wander what that means"
It should be
"I wonder what that means"
Your wondering can be mistaken as wandering around the net.
Although i'm still at junior highschool, i am using my grammar ,vocabulary and spelling in the right way.
It is not trivial you know.
But if it's aim is to joke people, it's okay as long as it isn't serious.
Anyone, reply next
Mmmm, i'm sure mappers start up a map and think, "I think i'll misspell a bunch of words in my map breifing today."
I wish i didn't have to read dumb questions like this.
AgoTrooper, that was dumb.
