ITS SICKENING! So we have Jack Thompson who thinks that kids are killing each other because of GTA! WHAT!?! Then we have Henry Jenkins who says that these kids already have other problems, and video games aren't affecting no1. "The contributing factors are mental illness, kids going off mood-altering meds, domestic violence, broken families, poverty-these are much bigger factors that cause school shootings."

You really cotta read this issue. pg30-33... yep... i mean sometimes Henry repeated what i said. AND HES LOGICAL TOO! Also stating that parents should be more responsible. But the law SHOULD NOT interfere.

People ususally fear what they don't know much about. I bet you most of the people who are against video games, don't really play video games much at all.

The obvious solution is to not buy EGM. Most people think it's a steaming pile of crap, and I'd have to agree.

It gave TS:FP a really bad score, if I remember correctly.

EGM only asked the questions.

These people against these "violent" games just want to remove them for some strange reason... Or its just "Oh, here is something the kids see violence! Maybe thats why he shot him!" Its the little "Quick answer" thing. then they start to believe it more and more, and you get a dumb person who has no clue what he is talking about. (Maybe the gmaes contribute some but just a normal person playing them would not be affected enough to do anything)

There's an article that states that the true cause of school shootings is NOT mental illness, broken families, domestic violence, etc. Why? Since virtually all school shooting are performed by males. The article shows strong evidence that the cause is homophobia and bullying, as well as the need to feel masculine.

To me games in no way make children do what they do. Most kids know the difference then games and reality. They arte just already messed up from god who knows what. People just dont know what to blame it on so they turn to games cuz they got nothi8ng else to look.

Pfft, its just a bunch of stupid kids who don't know anything, that make it look like the rest of us can't distinguish reality from gaming.

Bullying is very common for reasons for people to shoot someone at school, it is their only option, their only chance at power that everyone else says they dont have.

This misguided belief that video games cause violence has to be stamped out. There are many, many other causes (and much more probable ones at that, too), like drugs, mental illness, greed, et cetera.
