Staredit Network -> Games -> What I think would make an awsome game...

This has nothing to do with starcraft, bu I think the perfect game would be a FPS where they give you the nice cool graphics, the awsome weapons, a side, a planet far away from Earth/other planets inhabited by humans, and an ending. All they would have to do is make it so that their is two sides battling each other and the players could fill in the middle of the story! Also, the lack of seeing other civilizations limits outside help! It is just a perfect idea!

To get an imaginization of this, just think of fighting against another army (of humans) when you decide to call in an aircraft filled with marine/soldiers. When they land, they immediatly begin to follow your orders. After defeating all the enemies in that place, you call another aircraft to pick up you and your marines. You tell the aircraft where to go on the planet and then it takes off. You watch it fly to the other place where it lands and all the marines get out and follow you into battle!

That is just a basic idea, but if you think about it, it is pretty cool!

you don't play a lot of rp games, do you? I thought you played morrowind; that's exactly what you describe...

Yea, but Morrowind gets REALLY BORING after awhile, and their is no what to complete that game unless your a total freak who just sits all day staring at a TV trying to figure everything out, all I have to say to that is ranting.gif ! Besides, my idea sounds fast pased and with more control, I mean, who here doesn't want to call marines in and shoot some "people" (I mean, it is just a game, come on). Lets admit it, Morrowind has so and so limits!

like I said before, you don't play a lot of rp games do you?

If you like that type of game, you should play live rpg. You litteraly choose your own path and such

There a game called "StarCraft" that pretty much fills your needs wink.gif

Dunno about the idea though. I'm more the RPG kinda of guy xD

I don't think anyone gets what I am saying! I play tons of RPGs and they aren't the same. An RPG has some sort of story, and somesort of path, but my idea is far from. Sure, I give it a begining and an end, but the middle is all nothing. YOU make it up, YOU fill in the story, YOU make this sound like an interesting topic. Anyway, starcraft is close, but I want to see it in FP view (And don't say anything about ghost)!

thats because you are looking for a video game and that is physically impossible I think...

live rpg is just that; you make up your own story, you even get to choose what type of story you plan on making up. The character design and to a certain degree enemy design is completly up to you and the dungeon master

I think an RPG based on street crime would be awesome... Max Payne isnt really an RPG no upgradable weapons or skills or anything fun like that... And have it be as versitle as any other RPG like Ultima or Fallout

That is an RPG, but the best games are when the character does not change from start to finish! (Except SC and upgrades, ofcourse) My idea isn't an RPG for that reason! Yeay! Thx RAYNE! w00t w00t

You almost make me cry from the joy cry.gif .....

I think that RPG are the best when the person changes and gets more powerful as the game goes on and its also fun when the person changes appearance.

Yea, but then when you make a multiplayer for those games, it is just too hard. You have to give them either all their powers, no powers, or they can slowly work up to the max... It just gives headaches, that's all...
