Okay, this is my newest map, the size is...192x96
Here's a picture of it...
I'm still working on it, basically final testing for me to see if I want to change anything.
So far I have the following.
4 Player Starts, 10 Minerals spots each, 1 gas.
2 Major Subs for each player, 12 Minerals spots each, 1 gas.
1 GIGANTIC area of minerals in the middle. It has...
-23 Gas Spots
-88 Mineral Spots.
-Place for 4 Command Centers/Nexus/Hatcheries, AT LEAST. That's what I planned, Computer seems to want differently =P
Anyway. Thats what it is so far. Any suggestions or anything, please tell.
NOTE: In the map, it MAY seem like the middle subs are connected...THEY ARE NOT! There is a TINY TINY line of Tar between the bases that seperate them!
ADDITION:
The image isnt showing =/ you have to right click on it, and hit View Image or whatever.

Yea, you must have messed up or something, theres no image, and by the way that this sounds... there is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to many resources

No I didn't put too many resources in the middle, the point is that you FIGHT over it. If there's not a lot, what's the point of going there?

Your minimap picture is too small and there ARE too many resources in the middle. Way too much. You can hardly build anything there. You also made the resources follow along the edge of the island which looks bad.

theres not minerals edged around the edge of the map. You mean on the middle island? Yes.

I doubled its size from my screen. I'm sorry, I can't do more! OH WELL, I'M NOT PERFECT. I made sure you can build there, and the whole reason theres a load there is for the big fighting that goes there, thats the point, ur supposed to fight over the middle...god you people have no enthusiasim except for a SINGLE TYPE OF MAP, as if a little change is gonna KILL THE GAME.

Millenium, see where it says "User Posted Image"? Right click it.
This map is small, and the middle has way too many minerals. maybe two sets of 8?
This is like a blood bath with a million minerals in the middle.
Look you dont need that many minerals to fight over, look at Hawkeye (in the dldb), it has a good amount but still people try and get that first.
