Ok I dunno if anyone else has this problem, but its irritating to me. I got a DSL service recently, and although it works fine for everything else, it acts messed up on Battle.net. Not only can I not host games (and I do not have a firewall), but even when joining games, unless there is only the host in the game, I will lag badly. How do I fix this?!

I dont know if this is your problem... If i open up SCMDraft 2 and play SC B.net, i lag. Turn off SCMDraft 2 if it is on.

SCM draft has nothing to do with it.
I ain't using my router. My new dsl modem is giving me problems for some reason, working on fixing it. I can still game with one person at a time without lag though O.o

ehm.... DSL may work fine on the internet, but starcraft has much more stuff going on and makes the puny DSL weak and powerless. MUHAHAHAHAHAH!

My DSL pwns on B.net
1) Close every other program besides Starcraft 2) Check your B.net conection settings. Did you change anything? 3) Does it happen with SC only? Try BW and/or SC 4) Check your ping on SeN Bot with ~pingme. If the ping is less than 200ms then you don't lag and it's probably other people.

That sounds alot like 3D, he has DSL and can host with one person, he says it's because of his D-Link, should ask him about it

Volc, I used to have the same problem, and thats the reason I quit playing snipers for a while because I lag so badly. You use wireless right? (Guessing from what you described your problem) Because wireless causes high latency (opening ports can fix this - I tried before but quite difficult) and lags really bad. May I ask if you use a externally plugged in wireless signal receiver (forgot the actual name)? Because if you do, the signal its getting might not be strong enough. My internally built wireless signal thingie works 4 times faster than the externally plugged in on my desktop computer. The only way this whole thing got better is my caregiver upgraded the internet speed.
