The real question is.. does it read CD's if it does then the thing is jammed if not then its busted... go buy another one crazy.gif

Open it and try to fix it. It worked for me.
Note: If you're too stupid or you don't know anything about recorders don't do it!

Well thats a mean way of saying that... but my guess is it isnt really broken unless its years old... because typically burners are constructed a bit ebtter then roms which break all the time... but Volka is correct... if you know how try to open it up and see if anything is jammed... if not... try to warrenty it if you just baught it... otherwise... get a new one. And remember you do typically get what you pay for... i have a 450 dollar burner and you know what its never failed on me and ive had it for a couple of years and its fast as hell and the best one ive ever used.

You busted the gears is the most likely problem. That happens by much abuse tongue.gif

If you know anything about computers, go give it a shot. If you dont, get someone who knows to repair it (mail it to me for all I care wink.gif) or get a new one.

Our P.O.S. still works fine, if somewhat slow. It has a max speed or 4x I believe. laugh.gif

I saw one a while back that had a max speed of 128x. You could burn a hour-long cd in about 28 seconds. smile.gif

There are always the exceptions were you buy a cheap piece of crap and it ends up working better and for a long period of time then most of the expencive ones... but not typically...

If that was typical, our economy would be a lot better. The U.S. produces a lot of cheap sh!t.

Skip the hammer go straight to the Thermite. cool1.gif

btw if you didn't know, thermite is compound used in anti-tank bombs, needs magnesium to light it, burns at about 8000 degress F... We set some off in my friend's yard, and it burned a hole straight down into his yard. About 10 grams made a 8-inch hole... laughbounce.gif

Just search for a game fix (aka CRACK!) and apply it.

Half of you are thinking, OHHH YOSHI BROKE A RULE!

Cracks/Game fixes aren't illegal if you own the orginal game.
