Yeah I went to post my screenshot and it just said this: Upload failed. You are not permitted to upload a file with that file extension. Do I have the screenshot correctly made? I changed it to .jpg Just to know if I did it right on changing it to .jpg all you have to do is just open it in Infraview and change the file name at the end to .jpg and then save it? Or is this wrong?

Dude, that's too confusing...

Hey, i used to have that problem! You need to convert the file extension to jpg with an app. If you have (which u dont) a mac, then use Appleworks.

Appleworks where would I get that? I don't have Appleworks.

Wrong place to post this.

Appleworks is for mac computers. You need to open the Screen shot in a program that can open that extention and you save it has jpeg. You cannot just change the extention by changing the file name. It won't work.

Does anyone have any idea wtf is my problem with the screenshots?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by slayer766 on 2005-05-07 at 13:50:02
Ok then Kaboom, do you know what program would be needed to do that?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by KaboomHahahein on 2005-05-07 at 13:54:49
Don't know which extention you are converting from but probably PCX to JPG? (Starcraft's screen shot extention)

http://www.staredit.net/index.php?download=509 for PCX to JPG converter.

Oh I have that program! I just don't know exactly how to use it....

I have not used it because I use another program but I am guessing all your do is open the PCX file and "save as..." and choose the new save under the Jpg extention?

What I do is I convert it from PCX to BMP (my MSPaint for some reason can open PCX).
Then I open a program I found on my comp (PhotoStudios 2.0) and convert from BMP to JPG. (I have 3 of every SC screen shots, and 2 of every image I post)

Yeah that is wierd that MSPaint can do that. But yeah my problem is already solved thanks anyways O)FaRTy1billion.

Don't worry about the format that SC saves screen shots in. Just becuase it automatically saves screenshots, that doesn't mean that it isn't copied to your clipboard.
Open SC, get the screen you want, click the "Print screen" button, minimize SC, open up paint, go to edit and click paste.
