How can I completely mute things other than music. I've seen it done on a map before and I'm just curious happy.gif

Theres an Action called 'MUTE UNIT SPEECH', it mutes all sounds from starcraft except ones you import into the game

But the normal game music, death sounds, etc. are just 1/2 volume.

I have seen 100% SC sounds muted, but I am not sure how.
("Mute Unit Speech" only mutes speech, and sets rest to 1/2 volume, except triggered sounds)

I'm not sure, I've never really dealt with this problem but my guess would be to always have a blank wav always playing whenever there isn't a sound you want to play. Then when you are ready to play a sound, turn the blank wav off from playing and when the other sound has finished continue playing the blank wav.

I think he is refering to Scribe Bound, a bound that I doubt anyone has beaten.

ADDITION:
I think he/she get the music to loop so loudly that the background noise from the units being killed seemed to be muted, when in fact, its what this guy aid:

I'm going out on a limb here but, people have probably experienced that when there is a massive battle happening, some sounds aren't heard. If you could mimic this by playing a bunch of sounds than playing music on top of that, it might cancel out the other sounds. It could also lag the game up, but as I haven't tested it, I don't know what it could do.
