In all of my maps I have made a problem with preseve trigger comes up.

I set a condition where if a player bring a unit to a location create 1 unit at location. Then i preserve the trigger so i may use it more than once.

Well, the problem is that it will keep creating units even when im not in the location.

So my question is how do i use switches or whaever to make it so i can go on a beacon and have 1 man spit out only for hte time for which i am on it.

There is no reason why you should need to use switches. If your trigger is as simple as you suggest, there is a unit that trips the condition even when "you are not around".

Have you ever played one of the dbz godly xe9 maps?

They spit out 1 man at a time but are reusuable.

I want to do that.

My point is if your trigger is as simple as

Player x brings at least 1 men to location1

Create 1 men for player y at location2
preserve

There is no need for switches.

Current Player Brings Exactly one of any unit to "Sacrifice'.

Create 1 of anyunit at Sacrifices for current player.

There's my example!

Correct that is what i previously thought!

But preserve trigger should have to wait for the condition to be done again you see. But it doesn't!

Do you have the location the exact size over the main building of the race you want it? Then run ai script at that location. I bet ya you do and if the ai's still mess up there is something wrong. sad.gif

Make sure it has a sufficient amount of minerals in the area around it.

I wont get further in depth but
Yes, there are 10 resources although the computer is too stupid to build more workers.
and it covers the entire "town".

Try making the location only cover the town hall building.
Maybe try using a different script, and see if it works then.
