But aside from that, is there any way I can change the message on the score w/o getting another high score? When I got the high score, it decided to not let me type in the text box, and instead send me back to the game...

Nope you can't.
BTW I owned kck at that curve ball thingy, but for some reasons it didn't let me write the high score (or ANY score at all :S)
