Ok here's the deal. I'm making a CTF map and i got most of it done. Problem is I need to know how to create a capturing system. Anyone got ideas? Also, does anyone have a MIDI to WAV converter? I tried downloading some off of some google searches but they were only trial versoins. I need one that's free and allows me to make recordings longer than 10 or 60 seconds...

As for a capturing system, most people just put a location on the flag and remove it and add a custom score for the player who brings his guy to the location. Then when that guy dies or brings the flag to the base they subtract the score and re-create the flag. The score is just to indicate the flag has been taken and who has it.

AH, ok i see now. By the way thanks for the site on the converter but its faulty. I tried clicking the URL to download the winamp but there was a 404 error. You know any other sites that might have one?

Try it again, it works for me (and It's not in my cache/memory). If need be I might just host a mirror of it on my own site.

ok i got the winamp and i set it to what it told me, but how do i actually convert it? it doesn't tell me how to convert MIDI files into WAV files...only how to set it so that it records it..

ok i did but how do i access the converted file? I tried looking for it in my editing program iand i couldn't find it in the specified folder. Sorry if i sound really really noobish....

Are you sure it finished converting it? If you did everything right it should save the file to the directory once it's done converting.
EDIT: Basically it plays the file and records the sound to the output file.
