I'm just interested to know what people think is the most imbalanced, bad, or ugly map that is, or was highley used. Lost temple or BGH is not included in this, im talking maps used in big tournaments or whatnot.
My least fav would have to be Gorky Island, which was most notebly used in the 2004 wcg.

dont like island maps to start with, but having a big ol expansion in right next to your main that terran can lift to, and is already in the corner of your base so it can be defended even before you put a command center up there. i remember xellos vs. day (tvz) on this map. xellos went 9 scvs, then a cc to expo. and proceded to go 4 port, 4 PORT very early. valks and wraiths vs mutas and lots of scourge, then switch to hydras. Can't believe it was used in wcg's.
I know it's creative and all that, but I don't think I like Paradoxx very much

Until i saw that tank glitch
i like paranoid androide, makes for very good replays. and the name of the map is great. Its a radiohead song and he has the map almost sync up to the song. i forget exactly, but its something like the start of the song is chaotic, like early game on the map.

Paranoid Andriod is a good map.
PsychoTemplar and I played quite a few games on it.
Millennium army, Its not a glitch, its just a crappy imbalance, there are no Glitches in melee. Except for cheap tactics like floating drones, hightemps, stacking zerg units and stuff like that.
Its not even that good, its one tank seiging from lower terrain.

I think putting a tank on the main with marines would be more effective. Of course you would have to micro tho.

lol yenku. Toss does not want to go fast scout to stop that tactic^^ And that would be pretty much the only way to do it. On the other hand, it's only a BETA version, they will fix it before WCG 4 sure, and whoever uses this bug in a game other than just testing it must really be a lame guy, the win will most likely not be counted anyway (in leagues and turneys)

I never said ANYTHING about scouts.
I said I dont mind much because:
1. I dont play the map much (although i like it alot)
2. People never use that strat anyway.
3. Easy to counter
4. Can be fixed with 1 click in an editor.
5. I dont see that strat being all that effective anyway.

How can you say Paranoid Android sucks? I think it's the best 2005 WCG map, and i think it is better than all of the 2004 WCG maps....
As i said afterwards, it's mainly because of the tank bug.

wait a minute... i remember the very first time i played on battle.net (5-6 years ago) i played on a made map that i couldn't build ANYTHING because it was all unbuildable terrain (i have no idea how i remember that)
isnt that map called detonation xenote? maybe that was the beta name or something. i like the mineral blockade, just because it changes gameplay in the middle of the game. even with that good idea, it didnt make for good games though.
edit: o's, that maps expoes are alot different then the version that i had. the expos in the top left and bottom right corners are the ones im talking about.
o and i dont know if this maybe why you can build in the main base, i remember it was the the same (i dont know the vocabulary for this) almost doddad type thing you get randomly when you place terrain, but over all the base. i remember cause it looks really bad.
It is a buildable doodad.
