i dont mask my voice .. thats stupid why would you care what people think of your voice and stuff?? and i talk all the time expecially in shooter games for tactics and stuff

In the xbox 360 i heard they're going to add a little camera so you can show ur picture. I think that's cooler than the voice thing (but not better/more useful)

I believe its around the same... Xbox live works really well and has great quality...
One problem is that it you unplug your mic everso slightly the right way... You can echo other voices and that will anoy the crap out of everyone...
Most people get kicked if they do that though...
MAKE SURE YOU ONLY TALK IN A GAME!!!
If you use the Live feature Voice Chat... It will cut out sometimes... Games
work alot better if you want to talk to someone...
