this has been on my mind 4 a while, i was wonderin wat u guys thought.
ill have to go with zelot cause he is a brave warier who fights at clos combats n tanks suk at close rnge so i think zelot would kill tnak very easily with his gauss rifle. wat bout u guys?

Depends which mode tank is in. I tried this once.

A tank in tank mode can kill a zlot in a close fight.

However a tank in siege mode would be questionable. It depends who micros better.

He has a stupid screename, an incorrectly placed, stupidly named, stupid topic, and he sounds like a complete idiot.
I'm pretty sure that he's intentionally making himself seem stupid, probably so that he can laugh at how people react, or something.

There are so many other aspects that would affect the outcome of a simple zealot vs seige. Basically it matters who the gamer beind each of the units. I've beaten a reaver with a probe. (true story)

FYI MJ, this is about ONE zealot vs ONE tank.

I agree with Ez. Most likely he only came here to make a complete fool of himself. BTW: Remove that oversize siggy before someone does it for you. As for the 3 siege tanks comment, I think he is in line with that other foolish one over there. This is NOT a serious debate, I suggest moving it to Game forum, or maybe even garbage.

On Topic: Zealot will beat a tank if it is sieged. If not, the tank would win.

Zealots use Psi Blades. Gauss Rifle is for marines.

Anyway Zealot wins even if it's not sieged. Zealot attacks faster and recieves less damage from tank attack. However if u give a hero tank same stats as the normal one, the hero tank will win because it shoots faster. Someone should. make a sample map about this.

And yeah these guys are not very bright, but arn't you guys being a little harsh? I don't think many idiots would intentionally post in the wrong forum and then try to see what people say about him...Maybe you're just thinking the most logical asnwers for that which you would do....( )

My heart says Zealot, but my mind says Tank. Cuz a single Tank own a Zealot anyday.

If you can't micro and you lose, it's your freaking problem. Decent melee people know I'm right ( Psycho as well).

Sieged then zealot would beat the tank.
Non sieged with no micro then tank should survive with some hp left.

The tank's range makes it easier for it to hit and run. Because the tank would be hitting the zealot as it was coming up to hit the tank, and as it was running away.

The tank would win no question.

Lot moves faster, it can regen shield.

Also, I think terrain would affect the outcome of this match too, like some highground "pillars" would help out the zealot in hitting and running. Full highground cliffs would help the tank. Speed up would help lot a lot.
