Fear the Gears of War
This game talks about the war with the Human race, monsters vs. humans. The monsters are in the screenshots, although the Game Informer inside look has some really great pictures I can’t find links to them. Those monster you see there are actually the smallest guys you’ll fight, some of them are 4 stories tall!! This could provide awesome fun, Anyway you take on the role of a solider clearing out attacked areas where people once lived. You have your little team which all has their specialties and yadda yadda who cares about the story I just want to blow stuff up. The combat system is great; the view for the shooting is over the character’s shoulder, but a lot. The screenshots make it look like a TPS but the hands on people say it works like a FPS. You are required to take cover a lot which isn’t anything new, but there are A LOT of places to take cover, from little pits, to concrete blocks to building sides anything. Also they’re all destructible so don’t stay in a spot too long, because it might not be there. Also the melee system is fantastic, instead of a one-hit-kill punch like most FPSs have when you attack an enemy you go into a little mini game (They didn’t put this in Details… I think it’ll be like the God of War mini games) which could end up you punching the guy to death, slitting his throat, or many other things. The game graphics also look incredible, everything looks so real, but you could only see my love for the graphics in the Game Informer addition, pick it up today!!

i saw the video preview of it during e3 on g4 techtv. the game looked

I wanted it as soon as they announced it...
It does look good as well as many other games that are coming out...
