This map is one of the reasons why I say Nanaki is the best RPG Map Maker. It's a great party system RPG. It was ahead of it's time (Quality wise) when it first came out. Even to this day, it should go on almost everyone's top 10 best SC RPG list. And it was made I believe 3-4 years ago.

It has motivated me to make some of my maps, and it I'm sure it has motivated other people as well. I give it a 10 out of 10. Yes, there are a few flaws, but every RPG has flaws.

EDIT: I don't think it's not in the download section confused.gif And my computer doesn't have the map on it right now, someone submit it please.

To this day, it remains my favourite RPG ever made.

The length of this game is amazing and at the time it was made, everything in here was new and to be able to use all it's glorious "exploits" (for lack of better word, curse my low vocabulary) is simply amazing!

Play this at least once in your lifetime.

Estimated length on single player:

With Cheats (even though it's cheat disabled): almost 4 hours

Without cheats: Played for many many hours and did not finish so I estimate a freaken long time.

I don't ever even recall of hearing about this Final Fantasy map? But since you guys say that it is very good and takes awhile to beat it, since Cheeze didnt even beat it and took many hours, which must be full of good features and storyline must also be good. I am going to download this and try it out. Hope it's good. smile.gif

It's somewhat like final fantasy quest rpg, but TBC RANDOM BATTLES, and party systems. It covers about 4 aftermaths of some final fantasy games. Very addictive and quite fun. I rate this one defenitely 10/10 especially for it's time period when it came out.(It came out in late 2002, not 4 years ago =P)
Play this one if you want to know a little about most of the ff games(before 10).

Lost my time playing this map.

Nah, i didn't really. A great RPG made by NanakiIII, whom i believe also made those other Mario Party Games on SC. And since alpha says that this map was made about 3-4 years ago, I am actually quite surprised at how well done this map was. Back then, I didn't think they have really good editors like SF or SCMdraft.

Now i've never really been acquainted with Final Fantasy; i really had no interest in that sort of stuff. Pretty much, all i know about Final Fantasy is that there's this hero dude called CloudStrife, there's like 14 different versions of this game, and that FF7 is good. Other than that, i know nothing else; i am FF-oblivious smile.gif. But neways this map is based on Final Fantasy and you control 3 heroes. Now you start off the map at the "end of time" and you go back in time or something to complete the levels.

The fighting style is also like in those real RPG games. You encounter an enemy, you fight against them, and gain experience. During combat, you can use one of 3 possible items, one to revive one of your dudes, one to restore health, and another to.... ah crap i 4got. I only use the revive ones biggrin.gif. But neways i've seen many games like this, but again, this stands out from the rest of the crowd. However, all the enemies in this map seem to be burrowed. It gives you that suspenseful feeling where it's like you have no idea what's going to pop up right in front of you. I can see both it's pros and cons, but i think this is better.

And unlike most typical rpgs, you have infinite lives in this game. If you die, you basically reset back to when you last saved your progress. That's good and ban in many ways, mainly depends on what type of person you are. So really the only way to actually lose is for whether you just totally give up or you have to go or something similar to that. And of course, we all have lives (or i hope we do...) and definately have some much more important things to do than to play Starcraft, unfortunately....

So really, it's a good game especially for one that was made quite a while ago. 8.5/10 for creativity for it was one of the first of its kinds, very well done. Originality, 7.5/10. Seeing how this map is based off of Final Fantasy, could'nt give it too high but definately above good. The terrain was ok. DIdn't really awe or wow me that much, so 8/10. Complexity, should get a score of an 8.5/10. Fun factor, i liked this alot, 9/10.

Overall it gets an 8.5/10. Also, this is a 2 player map

Creativity: 8.5/10
Originality: 7.5/10
Terrain: 8/10
Complexity: 8.5/10
Fun Factor: 9/10
Overall: 8.5/10

Wow, that is a really intense map. i'm glad there are really good map makers like that. Also taken into point that it was made awhile ago and i still cant stand up 2 that. I find Rpgs really time consuming but once they are done it is amazing. I never finish 1 But i respect everyone For making them. Aep is a really good Rpg maker clan i must admit . From the Rpg's some of them showed me where awsome.

*Templar and army still my fav map makers wink.gif

I use to be part of the map team (aka the DLDB keepers) and i just reviewed maps. I did the DLDB part poorly so they fired me smile.gif . But seeing how i did the reviews so wlel, they still left me the position of reviewing cool1.gif
