I'm getting a laptop next week. I've been buying a few accessories for it, such as a wireless optical notebook mouse, ethernet cable, etc.

Today, I decided I should get a pair of headphones for gaming and music on my laptop. I saw a nice pair of headphones on a local store about a 5 minute bikeride away. Picked up the headphones, and went home.

I decided to test them out, incase they were defective. As a test, I decided to play in the "Slient Cortagrafer" mission in Halo: combat evolved (being a halo fan and all). For those who don't remember, or never played halo, I'll describe it.

I choose this mission because of the heavy amounts of bass that happen in the very beginning of the mission. You start off in a dropship thats going to an island. I turned on the headphones, and BOOM, the headphones were vibrating to the sound of the hum of the dropship flying!

As we approched the dropzone and enemies started opening fire on the dropship, I could ACTUALLY FEEL the blasts hitting the dropship, and I felt it whenever I fired the weapon!

By far, this is the best set of headphones, and even better than my speakers. 22 bucks CAN. I seriously recommend you all go out and get a pair. You wont be disappointed. High value, high preformance.

Isn't it amazing what headphones can do these days? I have some old ones that are like 5 lbs. and huge and sound like crap.
If I lived in Canada or wherever "Canada Computers" is, I would get some. I too am getting a laptop and headphones would be nice. Maybe if I looked more closely I could find what I need to see if a local store here has them.

Just when I was looking for a new pair of headphones ... can you help me with a couple questions?

1. Is it noise-cancelling? Can you put them on and not hear many noises around you.
2. Can you control the volumn/bass on the headphones?
3. Can you show me a picture of them folded up?

This comp does not support headphones so I can't get it and I don't have any games that will make it that intense.

They sound cool(get it?), but i wouldnt get em, because big headphones make me look stupid. (in my opinion) So i stick with the regular sized.

HAHA! look at Mike and his new headphones!

I like my small headphones, you could just put them under your shirt and behind your ear and lsiten to music at classes without the teacher noticing, unless it's real loud.
