I was wondering if you could let everyone know how to compress .wav files using Sound Recorder.
File > Properties > Convert Now > Format > MPEG Layer-3 (or another if they want to). It will save it as a .wav file but it will compress and keep nice audio quality.
*Edit* It won't import into StarEdit, so you'll need to change it back to PCM Format. I think this would be a good thing to do with all those music files in the DLDB.
Who doesn't love Yoshi? I have a shotgun and 10 shells for each of you that don't.

I just tested this emthod with some MP3's that I converted to .WAV and then I compressed using this method. It can convert an original 6MB.mp3 which later got converted into a 55MB.wav into a 3MB.wav without loss of quality. THis method is quite good and now you can have way more songs that your usuall 15 in your CD.
The Correct Forum would be the garbage Forum. *DOH! It's Off-Topic*

I wouldn't suggest that method of compression for everything. I usually go through and try to find the best compression for certain sounds/music. Look around and sometimes you find something that works great for specific songs, etc.

Simple! You take the flabigastar and create an IPSK (indo-pyscho-schematic-kism, you stupid kids), then you put the negative mass of Sigma 9^4n (n as the ammount of mass it increases to) and place that in the Quadratic Equation, invert it and take the opposite. With that you create lime, and put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up wherein after drinking it spike the punch and take the E=mc^2 formula and place the empty coconut in as the equal sign, turn the two upside down and turn the m counter clockwise nintey degrees. You will get this formula: E=3c^5; or the equation for yoshi.

Wtf does pie have to do with anything?
Don't you mean Pi? Also, It doesn't equal 3.41.. It equals 3.14

Pi is not 3.14
Pi is an irrational number. I will state Pi's approximate value to the ten-thousanth digit.
