this has probly been asked but i cant work out how to remove a flag using triggers

Isn't there a weird property with flags? Like if you give them to a differant player with triggers they don't change colors?

yeah flags dont count as buildings or units and i dont want to use romove all units incase there is a player next to it.

Why not use something in place of the Flags? Could you maybe use a Psi Emitter or the like?

It's like the 'Properties' and 'Flags' of the unit. It's like in StarForge how when you go into the properties of a placed unit, it will show at the bottom various 'Flag Properties'. The Flag has something of one of those programmed into it that makes it work differently.

I think u have to use the
Remove unit trigger
click remove flag for player at location bla blahblah
it should work

This is why tongue.gif. But yea, as with some of the others here, if you need to remove that, is it absolutely necessary to use a flag instead of something else?

You can't remove a Flag at a location? What the hell kind of bullshiz are you talking about? Either the trigger isn't running (conditions), or the actions are incorrect.

Powerups don't remove under remove all units at location. They do remove under remove (powerup name, khalis crystal, flag, psi emitter, ect.) I don't see what the problem is. confused.gif

...yeah, i worked it out like the day after i posted... i didnt realise flags were under neutral, ive onlt been mapping for like.. a week. but yeah i finished my map and it works well only prob i have is testing it with 8 players as no one realy joins maps they dunno...well not not many ppl any way,

Did you make a name for hte map? Usually if I see a map that says "New map help test" I join, but if in hte description it says "Untitled Scenario" I dont join. Make sure you take care of that.

You could also put "Infantry Defense! NEW!" as the name. works for me all the time.

yeah its called PBallCTF4v4(By D00M)
and i useually name the servers summmat like new map test etc.
but ive given up on that map... its finished and works fine its just no one realy plays it for long... if i start to beat them they leave o.o
im going to start a king of the hill map soon.
