I don't think that it has been done before. I really liked the way you used the traps.
For my boss battles, I plan to have them be boundish, but I'll definatly integrate many aspects from you map as well.

Those were cool for bosses, and not to easy or hard either.
I've always wanted to have a boss to be a zergling, that would burrow every once and a while and zoom around using lurker attacks, then pop up someplace else.
Cool Bounding boss fights, um cool i stealing that! lol im just kidding i sux at making RPGs. And Rantent i played a game that had something like that which had a marine, wrap and making clones/hallcations attack so you don't no which is which.
The bounding works easily for my RPG, becuase using my hp system, when your guy dies you lose a hp instead of losing. So if you have 30 hp and a bound obsicle exspodes on you, it's not the end of the world (but then you also have traps attacking you and a really powerful unit attacking you, so it's still difficult).
My boss battle in my map Mansion involves units with negative shield, and an EMP bomb.
How did you set negative sheilds, shotgun?
Do u mean you use a EMP to get rid of the players shield?
No, he means negative shields. Use Starforge.
Ahh....I see now, thats very interesting, although my minds a blank on uses other than what shotgun is doing.

I thought of using it in a map once. But I decided that there wasn't much of a point.

Units that are invincible but can be attacked?
I could see it used in some cutscene or something so that the heros don't die in them.
Or a boss like you said, that you have to hit a switch to be able to hurt him.
lol, my brother also had one of these boss battle ideas, but then his computer broke... but I bet he couldn't have beaten yours lol! good work!
