it's been a long time since i came back here, anyways

ive just moved to a new house 2 weeks ago and finally i was able to install starcaft on the computer. Parent wouldn't let me before so i had to keep playing at my uncles. Well I have Windows XP and i installed starcraft and b-net on my dads accounts since he wont let me install on mine . Since the files are shared im able to play on my account. The only problem i have is when i sign on my account im only able to play starcart, cant get on Battle-net at all. Also with the maps i make i cant even save it on my account with out going to my dads account. I dont no what it is but could some one tell me what wrong. Also when i put the starcraft disc in the D: drive it tells me i have to install it, but since its installed on my dad account all i go to is sign on to mine go click start, programs, starcraft. Then is starts it up and i can play. Well someone tell me how to fix this so ill be able to publish my maps online and be able to play on b-net.

Sorry guys i cant explain this well, hope you understand what im talking about.

I suggest that you go to Blizzard Tech support. They can help you more than we can.

For me to uninstall and reinstall i have to get on my dads account. I've already did that and i still have problems only on my account. I dont know why my dads account doesn't say the same things.

He's got Administrative powers. He doesn't trust you enough to give you these powers so you have to ask him to allow your account to go on Battle.Net. It's like a firewall, there's nothing wrong with StarCraft. Just get your father to fix it if you don't know how.

I understand that, well then now it about the maps

i have a map that i started like last year but never got to finish, when i want to start a new map or finish this one map that i've been working on the computer wont let me save my maps.
its said sumthing like "could not open file (file name) for open
then i just started to save my maps on a floppy disk, but when i try to copy my map from the floppy to the c:drive it said sumthing like "disc protected" sumthing about that. So i cant test my maps myself or even finish my other maps with saving it to a floppy disk.

It sounds like your father was paranoid and gave you SQUAT permission to do anything on your account. Or he is technalogically challenged and doesnt know what he's doing.
