To settle this, I made a poll to see what day Mod Night should be on.

People hardly ever seem to be on on Sunday, so friday would be better.

Do it on a Friday, because Fridays in the US are Saturdays here, and so I'll be able to join in. Sundays in the US are Mondays here in New Zealand, and so I won't be able to come if you choose Sunday. And I want to see all your mods, play them and watch you guys as you grow into the world's best modders, so I'll really feel bummed if I don't get to do that.

So, I think this is official... Mod Night will be held on Friday

I approve of this, don't you worry. Yes, fridays would be the best time, because people like me have school the next day on sunday

My consern is, we have to decide what mod we're going to play beforehand, so people can download it and start running it. We might just have to have "mod night nominations" so people can decide what to play.

Maybe a new forum in the mod forums?

I'll make a news post depending on what everyone decides. I'll start that up now.

Friday seems like a solid choice mainly ebcause of having no school on Saturday and because since the majority of SEN is on the latest timezone, US timezone's and there isn't really any major timezone west of that.

Friday is also a night when many of the older members on SEN go out with real-life friends. But it's not every Friday that we go out so Friday is a solid choice, anyone would pick going out with Friends/GF's over gameing on the PC.

So I guess that it's settled then, Friday are Mod Nights and Saturdays are Map Nights.
A Poll thread will be created on Saturday to decide the Mod to be used on next Friday. Maods from the DLDB should be choosen because they are more accesible to the people that go to Map Night.
Who would make such a Poll for Mod Night? DLDB Keepers seem like an obvious choice because we get the Mods from the DLDB before anyone else does. The people who should be able to make such a poll should be a select group or one person because we don't want multiple polls that create confusion.

I think like you should vote on the "spotlighted" mods that you would expect to play the next week, but you can also just have people download a mod they want to play that night, I don't think it would take that long to download a mod the same day, people could do it in advance.

People have jobs on Monday like I do.

Don't worry, a lot of people stay until way past Midnight.

But friday is when I got to the movies / party / other stuff!
I have a feeling that I'm fighting a losing battle.

Usually I'm doing something else on fridays and i usually don't get on SC until after everyones pretty much gone, so I'll be on late friday and hopefully mod night brings more people to late nite gaming in op sen

If you people want a mod night, I suggest you start making topics in the new forum we have. Even if, there is a lack of mods. Otherwise, I'll start choosing the mods myself.
