it goes back to normal when i restart my comp so can any 1 help me?
I have a similar problem, though it's not really like your's. A long time ago (before new patches and stuff), Call of Duty would freeze like maybe once a week, and I would manually close only to have the screen become much lighter, and I would have to reboot.
Just reinstall.
thx man i hope this works
ADDITION:
my god it still wont work danmit i reinstalled it and it wont work
hmm, i've had a problem like that before but from a different game. C&C Generals i think it was.
You may need to update your video card drivers and/or any other drivers like your sound card and stuff. Although if it's anything, it's pry going to be your video card.
If that doesn't work, then either your cd is messed up, your video card is plain outdated, or you dont have enough ram. Try asking tech support on the games website if they have one, i'm sure they can address this problem better then i can.
Good Luck!
Yeah it's prob the video card, but what does the error say? Or does it just say 'error'
like error 1732765172487 aomething like that clcik ok to terminate program
ADDITION:
how do i update drivers
Depends on what card you have. GeForce go to nVidia.com.... Radeon I'm guessing ATI.com, though I don't have one so I'd just google it to make sure. Just click Download Drivers and go through the steps. It will install the new files and everything in a very simplistic fashion (drivers are just files, nothing to do with the messing around with the hardware).
I've had this problem when I just installed Natural Selection. Every so often it would crash leaving the screen brighter. I left it like that for a while because I didn't really care (even though my eyes started hurting...) and after a while of playing it stopped and never happened ever since. It might be the video card but I doubt it.
