Well, I was going to take a shot at modding to see if I'd like it. So I stick my SC:BW cd in the drive, says it can't read it. I clean it to be sure, put it back in, and it still cant read it. I've tried 20 other cds, and none of them work. I tried using a cd drive cleaner, and even opening up my computer to see if anything was wrong, but, as far as I can see, the drive is busted.

Well, down to the point, I was wondering if anyone can point me to something that can run SC without the cd.

If this topics illegal or whatever, than feel free to close it.

There is no legal way to do it.

I used to have this problem before. I kept playing with the drive settings until it magically worked. It took like 2 months though.
