For those of you who loved PGTour, and have still not heard of it's untimly demise, I will have to break the news. PGTour is no more, unfortunatly, Pat has cancelled the server, and has not given any word to the community. http://gosugamers.net/index.php?page=4
This is incredibly upseting for those of us who played PGT, but we can always move back to WGTour.com
Let us all make sad emocon faces to show our mourning...

WGTour makes it known they had much respect for PGTour, and also makes a proposal to get a sponser to possibly get it back up again... I doubt it will happen.

Yea last night while looking at the tl.net forums I saw that PGT statement Pat made, really sad to see PGT leave, I wanted to start playing ladder there.

Your not the only one.
I dont think that they can bring it back, even with the help of wgt. I just hope this doesnt discourage people from playing SC. (i doubt that will be a problem, especially among the UMS community)

This isn't a thread with 20 questions on what these ladders are. It's not a place for telling the melee community we need to get our act together. We're very together. I'll answer your question now, and I'd appriciate it if you didn't comment on it... at all. PGTour had it's own server, and was in general an easier ladder to play on, because everything pretty much updated automatically. In WGTour you have to post the rep of your game, and you have to do some awkward wispering to their bot... it's not too troublsome, but it doesn't beat a private, faster server. WGTour has been on for more than 10 seasons, it pisses me off when people who don't know about it say stuff like this. Develop your own opinion... actually play the ladders instead of just saying you would have.

It's never going to come back, never. There's already tons of ladder tours out there, like wgtour, WCG, and ESGL.
Or you can just quit on melee and join the UMS world
