A few weeks ago my friend directed me towards a site called OGame.org, of which I had never heard of before. When I came upon it I immediately began to have a blast. It is essentially a website-based space empire simulation game. If you like KingsofChaos or one of the numerous other offspring, this is perhaps the best one out there. I highly suggest that you all at least check this out.

If you decide to join, join under universe 5 and then click on the Alliance tab. Search for "LPD" (Landoral Protection Directorate) and then send me an application. You could send me a short message telling me your SEN screen name and everything.
There are 3 types of resources: Metal, Crystal, and Deuterium (a fuel). Metal takes precedence early-game, and it remains very important. Crystal and deuterium become very important very soon, but you'll want to upgrade your metal mine first. Then you'll have a whole host of buildings to upgrade, such as your power plants, shipyard, and research labs. You get to research a plethora of technologies, and as you research more stuff, new ships become available. All in all, it may take a few days to get into, but it's more than worth it.

This game is really good. Someone started a thread about it at Blizzforums, and we got our own forum for it after over 1000 posts in the thread. We have an alliance in Uni 2 and Uni 4, both in the top 100.
It gets good once you can defend yourself from attacks and are able to raid people for resources alot. How is universe 5 going? It just started recently but based on what I've seen before it's probably got some pretty strong people already.

Yeah I started about a week after the first people, and I'm already getting pretty powerful. I just messaged some people and they seem fairly interested. Phat, perhaps you would like to expand into Universe 5? What are your alliances in Universes 2 and 4?

Okay, I finally signed up. Its on Universe 6, I basicaally have evrey thing built except for the Rocket Silo... I plan getting that soon though

I also joined... My metal thingy is all the way upgraded.. And I get about 1000 metal in about 30 min..

Go to "Alliances" tab on the left side and search for an alliance, keyword "SEC". We're the StarEdit Cartographers.
