Im making a new Rpg, in wich the terrain is mostly islands. The way you will move from island to island is trough swimming. But I need something else to make it special. It already has 2x speed and hyper triggers. On my last map I made 30 spells, so no spells for this one. Anyone got any idea's?

Good idea biggrin.gif But when will a character go underwater? I mean... there swimming, not diving. Maybe they find something so they can breather underwater?

Boats would be a very cool addition, and perhaps encounters on the boats with various seafaring foes (Pirates, smugglers etc..), or, if you want to work hard, a submarine would be awesome, complete with torpedos etc...

Well im thinking about an other mediaval one, there kinda addicting. So Pirates would be better. Any suggestions for a boat?

Also you could also have it where they had to dodge boats biggrin.gif and there could be 2 different parts one would be they made it to the next island the other would be they get picked up by pirates and or forced too work for them or sneak off or try to challenge them. you could do all kinds of neat stuff blink.gif

caves under-water to biggrin.gif and maybe you could dive under and hold your breath, like you move the little man to the beacon saying dive, and it takes a certain amount of time, maybe 5 secinds, to get back to the top, and if you get to a cave or sumthing there is air...

i had an rpg i wasn gonna make similr to ths, based on islands, i had a kick ass storyline to run with it, with pirates, and base on this rune type magic, and u move around islands and there where alot of ships or moving around sea land... and sea batles, althougn my problem was making an actually SHIP that u CONTROLLED on the WATER that looked lyk an actually ship that people wanted to use! a shuttle or dropship looks gay on water u can tell its air unit... and i was thinking of having terrain doodads of the boat ship with a earthquake type image that was moving around kinda looked gay but thats where my idea went down hill... how where u planning on making u "swim" around on the water??? im interested...

Hm...I think I remember there used to be a way to remove the shadow from an air unit. I don't know whether it was a special player or something...

It would also be awsome if you could like bump into small islands and roam around them and find like treasure and money and stuff, or even an underground/water tunnel. Making a a whole island like in the middle of body of water, that would be interesting
Under water cave would be cool thing to add too. And boats
