ok im using ai script. The problem with the trigger is like after a minute in the game it says unplacable ghost.

but the thing is i don't have a trigger to create ghost.

I belive that these triggers are whats doing it.


p8=computer
Actions:
always

Conditions:
ai script fill silo's with nukes. bw type 2
presurve trigger.

p8=computer
Actions:
Bring at least 5 units to location
presurve trigger.

conditions:
execute ai script" al nuke here at location
presurve trigger.

the reason i belive its this trigger is because i took it out and it didn't do it. blink.gif
btw: I already got the ghost in map with no triggers.

Lock + post the map, I would like to see if I can find out what causes an unplaceable unit when you're not creating the unit.

do you have a location specified for the units to go to. Also do you have a specified location for the nukes to go off?

I'm baffled. He doesn't have a location or triggers to create ghosts in the location. I put terrain in the approximate spot the ghosts were being spawned and ... they spawned. It seems like there are hidden actions or triggers doing this but I don't see them. The units also spawn faster than any hypertrigger can produce.

Sorry I don't really know whats causing it, and I can't help you. Since it looks like you just started on the map I suggest trying to redo the entire map from scratch instead of trying to fix this one.

This happened to me before, when i was trying to make a "nuke lag test". It would happen when i told the computer to nuke at a spot several times, after successfully nuking the area i told them to.. The errors wouldnt stop for a while..

i found a way to fix the problem after fooling with it a few hours.

what i hade did a put 1 hyper in the ai script.
after following that i then made a new trigger which is

p8 brings at least 1 unit to location.
never

then on conditions

never comand 4 ghost on the locations that it wanted to spawn them at.

it worked omfg lol.

maybe some one should put this in tutorial since it has happend more than twice but i guess. this hardly happends lol. ok thanks for the help any ways.

btw could you u guys not spread it around if she/he does send it to you guys.

Some of the special AI scripts are meant for very specific campaign scenarios, and do some things you might not expect. This one in particular spawns a ghost in what is supposed to be the computer's base.

cuinhell, you don't understand what the "never" condition does. It makes the trigger never fire. It cannot prevent something from being true. Remember that all conditions have to be true for a trigger to fire. "Never" is like sticking a condition that is never true in your condition list, which means that all conditions can never be true.

well hem i dunno then but it stoped creating the units and givein me the errors. I dun now why but it did. Now I can continue working on my map. Hope fully no more errors will pop up.

chu try it. it worked for me see if it will work on the version i gave u
