Ok im trying to copy a map i made onto a CD-RW but it says that something is right protected and i cant copy my map onto the

I think it says the disk.....but it may say map..ill go check

It says that acces is denied and says check to see if the CD-RW if its write Protected

This should not be Map Making Assistance.
And it is probably the CD because you only get and error message with the map if you try to open it. Nothing happens if you try to copy the file.

Ok, couple of things, if it was previously recorded and the info on it is still there, then the whole disk is unusable til u erase it, because when u burn a disk it fills the whole thing whether it used that space or not, so basically says to the computer im the file here, no files here, and such so its reads through clean, and that can cause u to get that error
