Try making a open space rpg, kinda like starwars. I think that would be cool.

Try making a simple map first, thats what i did
sorta like, lets see.... you should make a bound first.
It's easiest. Most think it is the hardest, but its the easiest

I already made a map.
That starwars idea is pretty good though.

I reviewed it. The first version Sucked Beyond Belief. The new one, I gave a 7.9 out of 10.
Maximum Destruction it's called. Damned hard...

Ya i made sure that it was really hard so that even if the rest was average that would bring up my rating. Just like school. xD

It had no plot and that was why it didn't turn out as good as it could've.

It had a good plot. It just sucked.
Your new one doesnt suck but has no plot...

So they are just opposites even though the second one had just as little plot as the first one.

I told you, the first omne had a nice plot. You had to infest a Command Center to stop Terrans from killing the Overmind. Wtf is with this one?

You are getting rid of the protoss from your homeworld. Remember the Zerg hate the protoss.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Aster on 2004-03-26 at 14:21:02
And yet, they also hate terrans, and there are rescuable terrans. Also in the first one there were Protoss on your side! blink.gif

The terrans are gullible and the zerg hate the protoss far more than the terrans.

Looks like your kind of streching your explanation there

Keep in mind if you read the manual, its mentioned that the Zerg don't want to kill the Terrans. By infesting and controlling the Terrans, they can use the psionic abilities the Terrans were on the verge of evoling, which would be the perfect match against that of the Protoss'.

I haven't played the single player missions yet, because some of them don't work on my sc. I really should go out and buy it. Then I might understand what you're talking about... wink.gif

I've played all of the Starcraft missions and I never heard anything about that.

Well, it's not that they DON'T want to kill the terrans, they will have to eventually anyway, but that's not their MAIN GOAL for now... The only reason they bothered to engage the Terran race now, is to possess a ghost because of the unit's skills with psionity (if that's a word confused.gif ). That way, they can link with the Protoss, which IS the race that the Zerg wants to assimilate... So Minimoose is right happy.gif If you read the manual, you would see. detective.gif

But why would Terrans willingly ally???
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Rayne on 2004-03-29 at 08:23:40
No one said they would... its a matter of assimilation into their race.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Aster on 2004-03-29 at 14:42:19
But thats what happens in his map...
Anyway arent we kinda off topic now?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by en_taro_shrimpy on 2004-03-31 at 15:19:21
Well it doesn't matter if they go willingly. Maybe the zerg are too powerful so the terrans go because they don't want to be destroyed.
