The key to my code was F A G. I didn't even realize it because I did the code my randomly choosing a key, and it was F A D. My jackass friend at school (where I did it) changed it to F A G, thinking it was funny.

It took me about an hour, it's the first time I've ever decoded anything. I used letter frequencies and a crossword solver to help me. I'm so pleased with myself at the moment. I first got the word "this" and I had the e and s letters for message, and that made me think the last word was "easy". Then I guessed "you" because I had the "Y" and from that I thought of "can" since "can you" sounded likely. I can't remember how the rest fell into place, but it wasn't really that hard once I got started. Someone give me a new code to solve!

I can't solve codes if the sentences are too short. I was looking at O)FaRTy1billion's code, but it's too short, although I think I found there are five words, and their lengths are 4, 4, 4, 2 (this word I think is "of"), 6. If it was longer I might be able to crack it, as long as you don't do anything more complicated than symbol substitution.

You can be happy that I didn't find this topic earlier. I knew that it was hex code after 5 seconds of looking at it, and it's the crappiest coding algorithm that can exist
All you need is windows calc to decode it...

Actually... that would just give you a number. But how does that help with a calculator hex code?

EDIT: Calculators do not use normal ASCII. Is there an Omega in ASCII? I believe its unicode.. Not on calculator tho

Someone should decode mine. It's really easy once you know how to do it.

And who (someone without any knowladge of Hex or any kind of programming) would know that is was hex... All the other codes were "substitute X with Y".
