Its a 2 player semi island ash map. I know a lot of people dont like ash, but i thought it the best tileset for this map.

Add a little more decoration (like lava or shale terrain). That way it gives this map more of a texture rather than some dull crude looking slap of lands

With island maps, you can't do very much wrong, but it is difficult to impress, too. If it istwo player, even more. This map looks absolutly playable to me, but has nothing special to offer imho.
And I don't like ash tileset^^

Should i add a ramp and make it land map? 
That was actuallly my original idea, but i thought it'd be cool to make a semi island map since i never have.

As an island map, there are two things I think all island maps have incorporated to balance themselves. They either have a natural on the main island, or they have everything not a main connected. Otherwise it disadvantages Zerg players. Island maps are more delicate than you think.

Meh, i'm just gonna make it a land map, i think it will be more fun that way.

I also had it so that the ramp was at the gas natural, but i think i like it with the min only better.
