I love how your maps look "different". I thought there wasn't really a way to make simple (semi) airmaps look different than HoV, NfZ, estrella or U-boat (although ihatetts star map was quite cool too), and there you create a completly different look without changing the overall gameplay-aspect too much.

Though I don't like how the players that spawn next to each other are really very close to each other. Maybe you should move the mainbases to the border of the map and have a bigger fighting zone between them. The mineral only expand in the main pit is not that good an idea I think, at least not on this place, because tanks that secure the gas expansion on top of it would also control the minonly expansion on low ground.

Hi Panschk,

I've made some change you suggested me to do. First of all, i put the main to the border on the map, i would onlylike to test it sometime if you can siege the mains or not, i also enlarge the mid passage between bottom bases and top bases.. added some doodads, added 1 mineral to each main base for a total of 9 minerals because i removed the 4patch mineral only. added also 1 mineral to the mineral only in the middle area. Tell me if you like it like this !! smile.gif

well after 2v2'ing (me and some newb vs trcc and beerkeg) I think that the expo's on the 4 corners may need to be a bit bigger considering once you add the nexus/cc/hatch there isnt much room for anything else. But besides that the map is perfect.

Me and the newb won, but then the newb tried to bs and i pwnzored him smoke.gif

lol wesmic, you have funny games^^

I think it is ok the corner islands are so small, there are only an other ressource spot, not a place to build a new base. You can still make some canons, and you should defend it with help of units from your main base, too.

Another cool map by trcc, you should have your own mappage. Do you want me to host it for you? I have more than enough webspace;)

First of all that newbie was me, second of all I had way more units then you and owned yellow's ass comptetly ( beer keg ) and about 3/10 of purple's ass (trcc).

BSer's worse nightmare is when the victim leaves before you can BS him biggrin.gif which is what I did, you only owned like 1 of my goliaths before I left plus i would leave earlier except i had to kill that extractor of trcc making him lose tongue.gif

Yea... according to BWChart I had gained almost three times as much resources and I produced a total of 211 supply whereas you produced a total of 97 supply... king.gif

Yea, BWChart is pretty inconsistent, but I still like to use it though. It's usually not off by that much though...

they're usually off by 5-10%, especially when you accumilate lots of minerals and gas, even more off when you're play a ZC or fastest map.

Yes that's right. trcc, it would be cool if you could fix that. Putting the gas on top on every position seems doable to me. We just have to make sure you can't hit the gas from an other platform on any position.

Decafchicken and panschk, what gas are you talking about? The main gas are safe, i tried my map, the 4 in corners are equal to each other, those in mid too !:!:!:!: ?!!?!?!

When the gas is on top and left you only need 3 workers on it. If it is on bottom and right you need 4. In some matchups, especially in ZvZ that can be important on an island map it is even more. Everyone agrees that it is not that important on expansion but on mainbases it should be balanced if possible.
