ok i was trying to reset my windows theme, so i downloaded aston. and it came with this thing called Shell Swapper. so i ran that and clicked on aston then my comp restarted but now none of my icons show up nore my taskbar or anything. i have to do Control Alt Delete and go to file>New Task. to run anything. does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Un-Install evreything you used to change the theme, Even Aston.
Doing this will re-set evrey thing you changed about the theme. Instead of resetting your current theme, Just pick a new one and run it through StyleXP, This should change it automatically for you, And you will be able to customize it to anyway you wish.
Aston isn't a windows theme or a modification for the windows theme. It's just like Litestep, an alternate desktop shell. You probably need to properly setup your skin before it will open up properly. Read the README files and see if you forgot to do something.
well i just deleted aston, aston shell. shell swapper, and styleXP.
its still messed up
have anymore ideas?!!!???
btw here is wat the comp looks like
Hmm, That's weird.
Try restarting the PC. If that doesn't work, Then you may have to go through the Windows recovery process.
wats the windows recovery process?

When you turn off your PC, And turn it back on, Immediatly keep pressing the F10 key as soon as you turn it on.
When you're in the RUN dialogue, just enter in 'explorer.exe'. Then re-install aston, switch the shell back to explorer (not aston) and then uninstall it.
OMG TY CHUIU_OS IT WORKED!!!!
yeah, lol. As soon as I saw the picture I'm like hmm .. no explore.exe running.
