Ok well i don't get it. Every new member gets 100% participation. than 12 than abck up to 70 its not making any sense.. Could someone explain whats wrong with the percentage.

It is the number of posts your have to the date you joined. So if you stop posting for a whole week but is pretty new at the site. You should go back to 100% fairly easy but if you are here longer and did not then it will take some major posting time.

It seems that after a while of inactivity, you never seem to climb back up on participation. Which really really sucks.

But yea, agreed. I didnt come on for ONE day. And it took about 3 days to get it back up to 100%.

It looks better when it's higher. But it really doesnt mean anything.

I have no clue how Participation is determined, all I know is that mine has always been at 100% even when I have been away for a week.

That is probably because you posted so much that it will take a long time of inactivity to bring it down 1%. Look at this, you joined a few weeks before me and you double my post count. That is probably why.

Mine went up to 100% less 2 months after I joined. That is when I started never closing SEN... It would go up 2% every other day (No, not 1% a day, but 2% every other day. E.g. day one it is at 96%; day 2 is 96%, day 3 is 98%, day 4 is 98%, day 5 is 100%.)

Farty... you're a freak. Mine is 35%, because I'm not a member of the site's staff or one of the "original members", and I don't post lots of useless crap. Seems like those are the only ways to get it up to 100%...

For me my participation goes down like after a week like 2 percent. But i'm saying all new Joiners to sen get 100% its weird.

I always thought participation was the percentage of topics you view that you post in.
