Wow, that map is sexy. I like how having air gives a big advantage. And its just outright sexy looking.

Protoss looks a little screwed against Terran, there's not a lot of room. Fast tank drops are going to be a lot of games, simply because it will be very effective. The map is really playing the players, not the players playing the map. Good first try.

I'm not sure I quite like how the minerals are placed (not the ones in the main base, but the expos). Dont think it's a good idea to line up minerals in a straight linearish line along the edges/cliffs. But that's just me.

Tank drops on this map would just be devastating... if someone dropped a couple of tanks on that place with a couple of mineral patches or on that lower ground right behind main minerals, then the game is over

ADDITION:
I know why it's called Deva Station. Because a tank drop is DevaStating. I'm not funny.

You can't do that crazy.gif . A map has to balanced all matchups, at least not too imbalanced.
Your map sure looks cool, but the gameplay will be quite linear, as there is only one path to the opponent. And the cliff on the main could be a problem, too. Not bad for a first map though, perhaps you could try to make it a more open map and delete those cliffs.

as a terran i could make a rax against the 4pool, but toss would have more trouble... Now that's too much, 90% of the map will never be used the way it is now...
a secound way should not be a secound chokepoint into the base, but a secound way in the middle to reach opponents choke/natural expansion.

Long path to each others base, looks like Terrans could dominate ground if they hold the chokes.

However, seems like every expo has gas, so I take it this is air-oriented.

I dont like the mineral placements of being lined against the terrain like that.

not all gas = 5k
not all minerals= 1.5k
