When will Star Craft 2 come out!!! Jease.

Its like forever since they even showed anything related to StarCraft! Showing nothing ...
Or is that true?

Does anyone have anything related to StarCraft 2? an image, a ... something
Im starting to think they arent going to make it

StarCraft II is a possible game in the back of Blizzard's mind. If StarCraft: Ghost sells well, they might make StarCraft II. If you look at the F.A.Qs in Blizzard's StarCraft: Ghost site, it says,

When they get bored of their next toy (WoW), so id say about 2006 - 2008.

*If Blizzard gets bored of World of WarCraft.

If you are say... 13 years old now, you will be probably 18-20 years old when it comes out. IF it comes out. By the time it comes out I will be too old for it so I really don't care about starcraft 2. Even if it does come out next year I probably won't get it.

SC ghost was just looked at by E3...

When SC2 comes out I will play it no matter how old I am, even if it's just to reminisce. Hehe I imagine a big reunion with everyone on battle.net who played SC and seeing them on SC2, oh that will be sweet.

SC 2 is non-existant. By the time it's being concieved by its parents, all of the SC fans will be tired of SC:Ghost, and there will be so many Awesome maps for SC that it will be pointless to play SC 2 with the latest in graphics software (geforce 10, directxplatinum elite 2.1, etc). Maybe I'll be dead by then, so I don't have to hide my face in shame of Blizzard. Then again, maybe all my predictions are off... By a couple of years .

You know what would be whack but cool. If they made a Starcraft MMOFPS kinda like Planetside but improved on the concept and you could have awesome space battles with wraiths and Battlecruisers. You would be a Marine at start and would improve over time and spread out to like Pilot, Ghost or so on. Just think of it. The possiblities are limitless. Invade another Terran planet and have huge ass battles. If they ever did make something like this computers and connections would be good enough to handle over 150 people.

I think a fast broadband connection could manage it. I mean my brother's dial up could play Final Fantasy XI. They would just need some kicking dedicated servers, but 150+ would be managable. I mean, I've played 64 player games on Call of Duty over the 'net and I get pings of like 40 (I run 4mb/sec cable).

SC:Ghost is related to SC, you play a GHOST and you attack PROTOSS, ZERG, and TERRAN. Including: Marines, Tanks, BCs, Wraiths, Vultures, Golatihs, Firebats.
I've seen those, for Protoss i've only seen Goon, Zealot, Carrier, and Cannon... I think
Zerg I saw Hyrda and Zergling.

But I think the game will suck hardcore, it looks absoultly awful, it just.. does. SC2 will be ruined I can count on that, they'll add useless stuff like they did to WC3.

Orcs in Space was a name given to SC during E3 one year, because that was what it resembled, causing Blizzard to redo SC.

Also in WoW, there is a picture of Infested Kerrigan on a Display Screen of some sort, and the Undead Worker from WC3 says "My life for Aiur...I mean Nerzuhl."

Blizzard's going to make the SC2 graphics 3D, tacky looking, and cartoonish... just like wc3.

That's what I ment when I said they'd ruin the game.
Although I always thought the WC plot as serious or gorey as the SC one, that seemed to work out well for it so they should keep it.

I've been thinking that for a while too. But ... we really don't know. And Blizzard has shocked me with their recent patches to SC these past couple years. They might be taking into consideration their huge current SC fanbase and not do it. Eh, maybe it's just wishful thinking.

Yeah I think they should keep it 2D, cause in WarCraft when theres a big battle, the battle is so blurry, people are attacking everywhere and since its 3D its hard to see whos attack who and how. Really confusing. But it 3D would be cool, if they could make it better somehow.
Yeah it does look cartoonish.

And if they make it like Warcraft 3 then the editor will be impossible in starcraft 2. And I cant even figure the whole thing out, a lot of people cant. And then I will be forced to stop making maps .

WarCraft III is best with Radeon 9800, 256 MB Video Card.
When StarCraft II comes out, there would be even better video cards, enabling a way better graphic than warcraft III can comprehand... therefore, not the reason you would really be complaining about.
