They're supposed to look the same, thats why you never really notice. But you can always tell because there are never duplicates or anything. With the exception of Smith ... of course.

Jones and Brown were the two "friends" of smith in the first movie, and in the 2nd one there's a part where trinty gets thrown out a building, that was Jackson she was fighting, and there's a fight scene at the beginning of Reloded with Jackson, Johnson, and Thomson.
