Okay, so this map didn't come out. It came out a while ago, thanks to the help of my friends. Although most of you probably already know what this map is, I've made it better smile.gif . For those of you that don't know what it is, it's an Aeon of Strife-type map.

Anyways, for those who know, here's whats been added:
Spells for heroes (Summon Dark Archon for Jedi and Force Lightning for Sith)
Academy costs gas (plus Castle Counter)
Added hero for Dooku player (Asajj Ventress, zergling)
Added BC for each side (repairable)
Droid dropship now repairable (takes a long ass time)
Darth Vader changed to Archon
Obi-Wan Kenobi changed to Fenix Zealot
Mace Windu changed to Zeratul
Jedi Temple added (spawns Dark Templar)
I'm not sure what else there is but, whatever.

O... Ok this is where it is. i didn't notice it. So you do have an outline. I still think you should have post the other thing somewhere else. Ok let me take a look at this.

*hum there is somthing wrong with your file. I tryed to join it and it said it was invalid. I think you should check up on this.

The name is just too long. When u dl the file change the name and make it shorter, i actually reccommend the creator do this, otherwise ur gonna have tons of versions of the same map.

I think this map has gone from a small, simple, mediocre map to a large, complicated, mediocre map. I think the gameplay is starting to drop and the quality is too.

Well how can it of gottan worse? Is it because of all the new improvments In map making? Or it is getting worse because of more things being added? Or it is just not fun anymore.

Since once you add too much content, it gets complicated, and the simplicity of the map is what made it fun, take it away and you have a shallow map.

The Bad

The Droids BC=Can't be hurt by white soldiers.
Black Middle Camp spawns more oftenly than the White Middle Camp. This means what if White destroys the Black Top Camp, no real advantage is won as Black will still end up destroying White's Middle.
Arbiters need to be healable.
Arbiters shouldn't be forced to attack by the attack trigger at each camp. Find a way to exclude them. It results in their death very often.
Make Stasis Field cost 125 or 150.
Put the Jedi Temple inside the city. I don't know if the droids have an equivalent structure, but if they don't have one, get rid of the temple.
Don't allow healing of the Crashed BC. It's not fair for them to be able to heal while the Xel'Naga Temple can't be healed. Or give them a Protoss Structure.
After you play the game for a long time you start getting 1000 minerals per turn, not 1250. Why?
Make upgrade limits on armor lower or on weapons higher.
You can't target pylons because the concrete walls obscure them.
Sprite Limit is reached in this version. Make shit die faster I guess...
Vader is a bit overpowered due to splash damage.
Academys take too long to build IMO. Try making their time 300?

The Good

Force Storm and Mind Control were good ideas. Maybe a bit expensive? Not sure about that though.
Camps can be killed more easily.
If not for Black's advantage at the Middle Camps the tides of battle would depend upon the players alone. The game seems to be well balanced, but I haven't had a good black opponent yet, so we'll see.
Making Academys cost gas was a good idea. There was a glitch to get the 4 gas in 1 acadamy build in the other versions. This took care of it.

Ok, or if you want I can do it too. I enjoy the map and know how to solve some of the problems, such as Arbiters attacking by trigger.

The Academy time is fine, it needs to be long, since the game gets overpowered easily once you get tanks every spawn. I haven't played the new map, but I'm basing these on the current things. Does Mind Control work on heroes? Is Force Storm cheap? Since, it'll be useless since most units have upwards of 300 hp. Using terran buildings as HQ's are bad, since they burn down. I have an easy time targeting the pylons on the concrete walls, against white, probably not so much against black.

I don't ever see new versions being played. I always see the original beta.

Okay, new version will be coming out soon, I just have to get the edited copy from Fuinur (He wants to do stuff, and he got my permission).
New stuff includes:
A lot better terrain
Better defense for droids
Grievous' separate special
et cetera, i forget them all. But, look forward to seeing it later in the month, perhaps next week?

Wow you made the map?!?! Well I hate to flame but its just what I think.
The terrain isn't so good. Its turn to crap now and unbalanced. Black has a higher chance of winning. Personally I don't like, I never liked it even when I first play it..

Its always the 2nd try that goes bad.

this map has generic all over it, and many buildings seem cluttered and disorganized. The map also does not look like a star wars setting.

Okay, all new updates have been made (thanks to Fuinur a.k.a Witch-King(9) )
Which includes:
Better terrain
Better defense for Droid team
Equal Camp spawn
Less BC armor (so things can damage it)
Heal for arbiter
and so on

I played this map, it's good.

But it sure seems to me that you dont know who many of the people are since you didn't really use their full names happy.gif like for instance the "supreme chancellor" is Palpatine wink.gif

But it doesn't matter i guess. When I was playing this I was overhearing people complaining how the maker doesn't know jack squat about starwars characters since he didn't properly name the units in the map.
