What Clans are you talking about? XD's, lizard and that other popular one that for some reason slips my mind did really well back in the day. Today, clans like 88, rS and fAke do really well too =/ Just get a group of people who actually play the game, and war with other people in tournements.
WarCraft III clans don't really seem any better than StarCraft ones and they've got clan support =/
Seriously, the point of a clan is to play games with a group of people you trust, and then to have tournements to see who's clan is the best.

I think that they just maybe add the picture(when you join a melee game) to UMS maps.

I agree with Rexy. MUCH MORE CLAN STUFF. And you know what always bugs me? My channel in starcraft is Op Darkness_Drake (my b0t) change the op to clan or something. Op is not my idea of a good name. Maybe smilies in chat, font,size, and color change like in these forums, and maybe make a patch like a mini-expansion. Add some units, change around energy, cost, and add some new units (its a crazy dream)

We have had the same "Clan Features" since 1997, the only thing that has changed is the "Clan" to "Op".
Patch 1.13 should fix hacks and the DK thing.

Wishful thinking. We won't see a patch 13. If we're really lucky Blizzard might release some kind of StarCraft Gold, that fixes bugs, has a secure ladder, new tile sets and backwards ramps. Actually... that's just what I think they should do, I know I'd buy it, so if there are more people like me they'd actually have a good reason to do it (money =D).

My point in my previous post was that we have been without them for like 8 years now, we can keep living without them. I highly doubt that Starcraft will make such a big patch as 1.12 was.

How about they don't release a new patch, so all the modding tools stay compatible. 
The only reason why I'd want a new patch would be if they actually ADDED something cool. (Ex. That WC3 patch that added a new hero)

Well I had a hack once.. U could see in the game room, the person who handnt downloaded the map, well, the one's who did download. Pretty handy..
I also think the map ping on one of the lastest patches was a great improvement.

I hope blizzard somehow encourages all users of battle.net to quit playing the same melee maps over and over again (LT, bgh, $$, etc) and play some other maps.
