I was driving back from a dentist appointment on the way to papa ginos with my dad when a moronic soccer mom smashed into my dad's car, smashed isn't a good work since it was at like 10mph but the damage is pretty bad, the right side of the car is basically dented although the doors still work, basically it ruined my dad's dreams (and sort of the rest of the family). My dad loves that car, it was spotless, not scarthes your not allowed to eat in it or anything and I'd always crack jokes saying he could sell it when it becomes a classic in mint condition, but I can't make those jokes anymore because of this stupid crash.
Luckily no one was hurt, the windows are fine but it still sucks, i'll post pictures when they come in.

A BMW crashed, thats a really nice car too.

Same thing happened to my dad's Alpha Romeo, he was completely stopped and a guy in a pickup at 50mph fell asleep and hit my dad. The Alpha Romeo was a complete wreck and couldn't be fixed. The trunk ended a few inches behind the front seat. Rear seats I don't know where they were, probably destroyed. We had to sell it to a Junker, I really wanted that motor for my car.

Some people can be complete idiots at the road, I mean WOW 10mph and she crashed you.
Good thing your windows didn't break, mine broke last week and it cost $625 for the rear windshield and to pay labor fees.

They don't look that bad in the pictures, but they are, and it still ruins the car, the paint they have might not look the same, the new plates might look different which could make the car look horrible.

Thats a pretty bad bang. It may not look like much, but it covered 2 doors and the area between the rear door and rear wheel.

Nice car, it looks brand new and really shiny except for that dented area.
What model is it? Looks like an M5.

The interior looks mint as well, hopefully nothing bad will happen to that.

It's a BMW dude, the repairs are gona cost like $5,000 but what the hell dude, doesnt that soccer mom have an insurance? All the repairs will be covered by her so what are you talking about "ruins your dad's dreams and the rest of your family's"

1. We can't sell it for mint
2. SHe claims it's our fault, and the Police Officer agreed with her, you know because cars move from side to side right? We obviously drove into her front end with our side.
3. We might have to get new doors, or just one of those suction things that take the dents out, but that could leave marks, and if we respray it one section will look brighter then the other which will make the car look shitty, my dad LOVES his car, spotless for 4 years.

Dude, I'm sure its not all her fault and you're not giving us all the details because if it was her fault 1. The police wouldn't agree with her and 2. You would persue this case in court.

You say cars move from side to side, dude, maybe there was a stop sign that you didnt notice or maybe you drove trough on a red light, that would make it your fault.

We were already at the stop sign and the light at the intersection was green, she was arrving at the stop sign, so we started moving and she looked towards the other intersection away from us and decided "I haven't checked the other side so i think ill step on the gas" my dad saw that so he swired a little on the next lane but the lady still moved up, we tried to avoid it and she STILL hit us.

Sometimes I hate sick thoughts of what to do with people like her, your dad should've just gotten out of the car, slapped her in the face knocking her out and went "BITCH", and drove away.

Put a plunger on it and plunge it a few times, the dents and dings will come right out. On the other hand, you'll still have to fix the paint job.

A kids mom at school died yesterday from a car accident. The person driving was drifting into sleep and went sideways. Shoved her motorcycle right over. Some people just don't pay enough attention on the road or fall asleep (my grandma once fell asleep while driving on the M-1, caused a small pile up and that definately isn't good). Some people don't stop when they are incapable of driving safely. Anyone who finds themself incapable of looking in noth directions when they drive should be taken off the road temporarily. My moms van was knocked onto its side when I was 5 because the person that hit her didn't check if anyone was coming in his direction from the left side. People like that are obviously incapable of driving safely.

Sorry your Dad's BMW got owned, that must suck really badly.

Doesn't seem that bad to me, but I guess it's a BMW so it's slightly more expensive than my '96 Toyota. Even so, I think as long as the car still works, and you can get out and everything, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I guess sentimental value is the real thing here, since it seems like it meant a lot to your dad.

My mom can't miss that many days of work, my dad hardly works now, he's starting a business and it's not going that well.

Was the officer male or female? I wouoldn't be surprised if it was male and he favored the female driver because of her gender, that's something that happens commonly enough. Either way, I hope justice is done, your Dad's business does well, and that people incapable of remembering to look both ways when crossing the street are removed from the roads, .

Soccer mom's are idiots. I was pulling into the swimming pool a few days ago, and I was trying to park, and this idiot lady tries to swerve around me, except she went through the parking spaces I was trying to park at. I honked my horn and she threw hands up like "what?" like she didn't realize that my car was turned in an angle to park. Idiot.
