I'm not going to hide this, and I can't...

Recently, I have been cought "hacking", because I found a bug in a program that gave me the ability to do what was done a few news posts back.

Yes, I'm "hacking", as you'd think as a regular gamer.
But what will consume your logic is knowing the fact that it isn't.

What puzzles me is that the guy posting at Icantlose and battle.net are the same person(ApeRape), posting the replay on every website he can type into his address bar. But the guy uses hacks himself?! That's different, a hacker accusing someone of hacking!

But one thing is certain- I never used it for an unfair advantage, I just joined unfair games(7v1 money map) to test my new discoveries. I never even thought of wins or losses.

Entropy also stated that I was not cheating either, saying cheating is when you intend to get wins for using it.

The problem with this, is that it is easy to do, and now some other people know for the same reason I know, a small clue.

Blizzard has been aware of it, I made sure of that, and all of its capabilities as well, because it isn't restricted to morphing into mutalisks...

He is one of the key people in map making today. He was one of the founding fathers of extended terrain, did most of the sprite reasearch, did many many anti hacking techniques (which im sure its possible to add this type of hack to the list), found out about how to increase supply for a race, and also some of the Extended Players reasearch as well. (there are countless more things im not mentioning here).

Once again, I don't approve or support of his actions, but keep in mind that he's done a lot for you too, so watch what you say to him.

I'm going to allow this because its a important truth that needs to be known in the community.

By the way, the ApeRape guy is posting it everywhere, because he's trying to transform you as a hacker thats destroying the community, and some people are suggesting that SEN is backing you up.

Obviously, many people have nothing else better to do besides spreading Propaganda.


I never tried, nor approved of hacking. I don't think any less of Deathknight2004 because I know him as a map maker. There are hackers in every community. Its disgusting and immature to see how some communities single Deathknight out as a super hacker whos going to mess up starcraft for everyone.

Penguin Plug isn't a hack.

Anything that alters the function of a game other than what it intended/capable of is considered a hack ScrollMaker

It's alright DK, we still respect you, well at least I do. Just wondering if you are going to continue doing it. I mean you and Agent_God just created this about a week ago and I know Agent will continue to make more 'mods'. Just whatever you do, don't share with anyone because this can ruin Battle.net, which it already started to, kinda. We should've just kept it on the dl with the 3 or 4 that had it..and not've used it, but since the word is out, we might as well acknowledge it. And also according to you and a couple of other people, this is considered a 'mod'. I don't know what to call it except a train wreck. We should just stop using now that it has exploded. We cannot choose peoples gametypes. Even though this community disapproves of money maps, comp stomping, etc, we know very well that there are people out there that do like it. It's best to leave them alone.

But ApeRape still did pretty good in the way that he was able to fend off some of your huge mutalisk swarms. I bet you guys were talking a whole bunch of trash in that replay lol

So i go to a link, watch the replay and i just FREAK OUT. Wow, and you still lost lol. I didn't think it was possible..however a damn good fine. The boundaries of starcraft are yet again broken..This one by-far very high in quality of the "effects" of it. Legally wise would any1 use that face..what charges if any? Just wondering.

I went on USWest and asked them about Penguin Plug and BWChart and they are both considered 3rd Party Programs which violates the EULA (End User Liscence Agreement), however he said they are more focused on trying to stop "map" hacks and hacks that effect gameplay primarily.

If Blizzard has been notified, then I think that might cause some reprecussions that I'd rather not mention. But I do think you did the right thing to save your own ass DeathKnight, lol. People just loooove to bastardize others when they get in the right mindset to do so, so coming clean early is really your only defense (especially involving matters of hacking and other EULA no-nos).

But don't expect to have seen the last of it.

Wow. That's insanity. Like absolutely. I've never seen ANYTHING like this before. On one hand it's quite scary, on the other, it sparks a bit of curiosity.

I still don't understand.... probes into mutas? I don't play melee or anything but wtf? I can't even watch the replay due to my bw disc being eaten by my old cd-rom. Whats the glitch? I go to ICan'tLose.com and all he says its what is happening because of it but didn't say how or what. Someone fill me in please.

It's better that this not become more widely known than it is already, as I'm sure we'd see a LOT more of it very soon if so.

I've posted a new topic in the news about Hacking, I hope it makes it to the headlines, cause it's very important. I'm still trying to understand y DK is so mean to everyone and he thinks he's so cool. Watching that replay I feel like SMASHING HIS HEAD IN A TABLE. Hackers really piss me off, you have no -.- idea .

I'm not talking about the hack, i'm talking about the method to do it. I seriously doubt it will stay secret for long, though...
