What do you think about Age Of Empires series? I grew up playing those games and i loved them, its about a medieval civilization with a bunch of missions that are based on history. All of the games were great for their time period and Microsoft is coming out with the 3rd AoE game thats is going to be WC3 like except much better. Out of all three, I think the first one was the nicest and well done, what do you think? Share your thoughts, ideas, observations.
[justify]I liked them all. I never owned the first Age of Empires but I played at my friends house and downloaded the trails. Then later I actually got Age of Empires II The age of the Kings and later got the expansion. I was crazy about midieval things when I was small so I really like Age of Empire. Then later I slowly went towards the Starcraft side because it got boring after a while. The map editor was not good so we could not make sophisticated games like on Starcraft. I still play it occasionaly though. Age of Mythogy I probably won't be getting.[/justify]
I'm so disapointed they still don't have Poland in this one, they had it in Rise of Rome, Jesus Christ, it was bordered with the holy roman empire for so many years... It was proven that they were afraid to invade us... lol... and they kept sending merceneries to Poland and thats WHY POLAND IS THE ONLY SLOVAK COUNTRY THAT USES ROMAN ALPHABET.
I guess Age of Empires is like Empire Earth (same lead designer). Age of Empires keep going up in history but all in different games and Empire Earth is all in one game you go from prehistoric age to the space age.
