This thread was created a while ago, but I'm recreating it because its been dead for months (at least). What is the origin of your name?

My generic sn was --Freak, but people called me Fk for short, and my sister started using the name KameChick, so I expanded it back out into FireKame. Then for all of two days I changed it to VenomousKame, in honor of my alter ego, Venom-- (which I think is a baleted account by now). Yoshi caught me online one day and asked why I changed it, and suggested I change it to Kame da Sniper, and ta da. I = here.

It was my 12[sup]th[/sup] birthday, and I was showing my friend StarCraft and Battle.net (When this comp had it ). I needed a new name, and he had suggested making it "Farty" just as a joke. So I did the wierd "FaRTy" thing and added "1000000000". So I was FaRTy1000000000. Then me and another friend decided we were going to make a clan and call it [O].
Then at the release of StarCraft 1.11, my internet screwed up and would not let me on Battle.net. (By at the release, I mean the second I clicked "Ok" at the "There is a new patch available. Would you like to download it now?")

Then a long time and a new (old) computer later, I got on b.net and relized "Omfg, I havn't been on B.net for so long, I cannot remember my password!"
Then I had remembered me and my friend making the clan[O].
So I was going to make the account "O)FaRTy1000000000", but Battle.net has a 15-character max, so I had to shorten it to "O)FaRTy1billion".

And here you see me today, "O)FaRTy1billion".

P.s. It is not fun having the name "FaRTy" because it seems like people see it as "I am an idiot. Flame me now!"...

I got the nick-name "chewy" a while back from a teacher and it stuck like freakin cement. Everyone started calling me chewy. And one time one of my friends wrote up an invitation for me to go to their graduation party, it said "To Chuiu" on it. I thought the way she spelled it looked pretty cool so I kept it. I obtained the OS not for the same reason that OS-Seven (one of the first people I use to game with a lot on bnet, with Terrenblade) but because it's an abbreviated form of my gameplay and a favorite map of mine. Offensive strike. It's not to be confused with a clan or anything.

On bnet now I just go by chuOS. Over the years I've used several funny names like ChuChuTrain, ArtOfChu, Chuiuiuiu, etc. Some were spinoffs of Gosu nicknames, like the ArtOfChu one. Oh yeah, I remember now I used to have PlayChu.... for a while. Heh, you would only really get it if you payed attention to pro-melee starcraft.

Sorta was bored and looked for a random word and got to find 'Aquarian' but since it's an adj. I've added a noun (trooper) for it to be a noun as a whole.
Unfortunatly, it was too long for bnet with a space and looked weird without a space, so I just shorten 'Aquarian' into 'Aqo' and for the sake of it didn't put a space.

My name was Shadow all over the internet a while ago. Then all those accounts expired and people took the name Shadow. It was a censor one of my friends made when I was younger. I tripped him and he was like "SHH---MEEPS!" (Since he was like 14 and I was 8, shouldn't be hearing that, or so he thought) and...yeah. That's. About. It.

I made this screename 6? years ago. It was derived from Star Trek: Voyager (Voyager NCC-74656). Um... but I forgot a number. I realized no one else had this screename, so I stuck with it.

And of course, the (MM) tag is from my clan.

At first, this was just a name for an experimental account, because it described the way I would play with it. Psycho Tactical Expert Mission Planner... but the style grew on me and I didn't feel like telling people to mess with their f lists, so I stuck with it... Now I have a rediculously large number of people on West who recognise me. Plus, it sounds cool =D My old account was ilikechicken and I used to have a smurf called link58, which has something to do with being a missing link.

Was playing starwars pod racer with my friend on N64. When (I forgot who) dies. I think it was the guy with the wings and he always flies around. Anyways when he crashes and blows up he goes "Kaboom! Hahahein" Then for some reason I used it.

My name is based off of latin. Not sure why really I just made it up when I got cable and being able to play online. I didn't even know it was really from latin untill I was bored and my friend looked it up. and it ment stupid basicly. lol so I like that name and it fited to what I did. lol I liked it pronounced as, brut tea all , so the last T is silent! broo-teal-el is the correct pronounceation, but I like mine better.

I think a lot of it has to do w/ the zodiac calender. I am amazed by it and how it seems to shape and mold people.

I've had a stuffed cat since I was 2 years old, named Yeow-Yeow. When I started SC, i got tired of my original name after 2 months and started to think of something else, and I shortened Yeow-Yeow to yeow.
