How about a combination of them all... Beer, Guns, War... nothing could be better like maybe describe how Beer can lead to the average joe playing with Guns and getting into a fight that triggers a War.. it would be awesome.

No beer was the one factor that kept the war from being started. There would have been a war, but everybody was too busy getting smashed to participate.
