Staredit Network

Well I've been hearing around about this new hack that allows you to morph your SCV, Drone, or Probes into like a flying unit? Is there really such a hack made, because I read the Staredit news the other day and I had read about the guy that used this hack, well I was just wondering if maybe Blizzard would probably make a patch for this hack.

I don't know why this was invisable, but it's not anymore. There is a hack that lets someone morph a drone into a mutalisk, but thats it. There is a MOD that lets people do just about anything including spawning units anywhere you want. It's not public and hopefully it never will be.

its not a hack, its a mod and yes it is public and star craft as we know it will be doomed. It may take sometime though till our end.

How can this be a mod and not a hack..if you use a mod on bnet ur sc will crash.

Its a special mod some people know how to make; it is doesn't drop you and it saves into replays.

First off, It isn't a hack.. It's a mod. And I don't see why you are so concerned about it.

Of course Blizzard is making a new patch for it. And evrey one that used it, Or has been reported, Is going to get some harsh punishement towards them.

I took the link out because I enjoy saving StarCraft and the community. If you want hacks, go elsewhere.

Uh oh if YOU could get your hands on it (via google?) this is going to get real ugly real fast. Especily since more and more people have discovered where to find it. Im afriad...very afraid.

People who make the hacks often times sell them. I once saw one for 15 bucks.

I'm attaching a replay of a guy morphing scvs into mutas, is this what your talking about? He did it in a ums game and called it 'blizzard's plan'.

The map was Armored Core [Reloaded] and he morphed all his scvs into mutas then kicked yellows butt with em before they left.

My brother on the other side of the world was talking to me about this morph hack he's seen (The Dk one). He doesn't play SC much and he doesn't know any web sources talking about this hack. It has gone public, because he mentioned the person who used it, and that person is showing all these people in private games. Plus, I just got hacked and bsed by my 'friend' and in two games today. Starcraft is getting so screwed now and I'm so pissed. Worse of all, even my brother uses hacks now. This stinks.

I refined my sentences, I'm just so pissed what Starcraft had turn into.

A new maphack just came out and it has safeclicks, that means if you hack and even if you spam click on your unvisioned enemy's building it means the suspicious clicks will NOT show up on BWChart, also, the morph has is public, don't ask me for a link because i'm not gona give it to you, I hate hackers and the only reason I downloaded it is to test if the clicks are really safe and if the morph hack really works, and the answer is Yes... I already deleted the hack but now theres no way of telling if somebody is hacking or not unless its really obvious which i doubt it will be, or to pay careful attention to the replay after you review it.

Safeclicks have been out a long time before this . . . all it does is keep the click patterns client-side.

As for telling if somebody is hacking, there are some tricks that you can use (I do the first one all the time):

To check if somebody is spoofing their name in a game, just type /where name for that person. If it says he is offline or isn't in your game, he is spoofing.

The other test is a little bit harder (it requires that you have some kind of an ally alert).
In the game, you can test if one of your allies is hacking quite easily. Simply unally them for a second (make sure that you are not in a position where your units would attack them, however). If they unally you back, they are using an auto-unally hack, a common hack part of a package which I will not mention. This almost always works (In a single comp stomp game you might find 3 hackers every game).

Hopefully blizzard fixes this quick, and CDKey bans all of the hackers who used it (more ways for blizzard to sell more copies of SC!)

EDIT: I don't know if anybody else knows this but, THERE IS YET ANOTHER NEW HACK WHICH ALLOWS PROTOSS PROBES TO BUILD BUILDINGS ANYWHERE THAT THEY HAVE EXPLORED AT ANY TIME!
