i've read many things about kali saying that its good but is it worth the $20? They say nicer people and more servers than bnet and not as much hackers.Though the drawback they gave was less games and users so its very unlikely youll join a game in ums that you want thats not the flavor of the month (or you could just create a game but if your like me your latency is too high )

So would Kali be better (obviously you guys think so since you play bnet) but whats the reason? waste of $20,not many users, dont care about the hackers much, can take the abuse of assholes? Or is it all of the above or do you already use kali but play bnet sometimes as well?

Also:would you use kali if it was like this and was free?

kali is a different internet online games place for all blizzard games and (some others maybe) like bnet

so... it's free for Quake3

Doesn't seem worth it. Rather play an MMO for that price, or simply hang out with trustworthy people in my games if I really don't want the usual random bnet asses.

I downloaded Kali a year and a half ago and there was never anybody playing Starcraft on it. So I doubt there would be now. I don't know about having to pay, but you didn't have to pay in the past so paying is probably just for some special benefits that were already listed above.

Kali is NOT an alternate gateway, Kali creates a virtual local area network (virtual LAN) between you and everyone you're playing the game with. When you're ready to enter the game you then click GO or something and it loads up the game and automatically connects you.
