does anyone know anything bout sc 2 and sc for ds?
if u do please explai 2 all the people here i will tell u all i know
SC 2 is coming out in about 2007 ..sad but it should be 3d
blizzard promised never to make 2d games again!
though ill miss starcraft.. how will it look in 3d?
BLIZZARD MAKE THEW VIEW FIXED(in 1 place)

bout sc ds starcraft would be the PERFECT thing for ds a stylus could work as a mous eexcept theyre are some problems please try getting a picture of sc for ds at photoshop!

First off, you cannot makes claims that SC2 is comming out in 2007, cause Blizz hasn't said a damn word about any production on SC2 (I heard from the Blizz site that they probibly wouldn't start another SC cause they don't want it to suck. Which it probibly won't be as good as the original) They could have said that to get people off their back.... But I doubt it.

I doubt SC will come out for the DS. SC on consoles didn't sell well, so I doubt they will fork out the money to make it on DS.

I believe that SC2 MITE come out, sooner or later, but not for quite a while.

how the hell would it suck?! tell me one thing a ds doesnt have that sc needs a keyboard? u dont need yet a mouse ? a stylus is a mouse what else u neeD?

That isn't the point though. I doubt Blizz want's to take the time away from their precious SC:Ghost, and WoW, and whatever else they are developing.

And like I said earlier, I doubt they will make it for the DS cause of how shitty the one for 64 did.

It's all about consumer economics.

If one thing doesn't sell good on one platform, they will most likely not buy it on a different platform because they think it will suck on the other platform.

When it comes to melee, you NEED a keyboard and mouse. I don't care who you are you can't play a game as fast or as good without the two. The thought that SC2 would be coming out for DS is just ... it's not practical.

As fast and not as good? Hotkeys are only part of the game. It has a Mic and Online play is coming soon for DS so why not make it for DS? You could talk crap they could make the Hotkeys into voice commands like Nintendogs. Say Nexus and wow you can have it set up where it either goes to the nearest one or your first one. Top Screen could have all that your researching and you money and so on so it is all in one area and just look up and say ok I am already researching that so move on. Chaos Theory for the DS is very unque specialy when you actually have to type in the codes:D. So if they can do Chaos Theory and make it fun then I know Blizzard could do Starcraft just fine. But I doubt it will ever happen lol.

It would take too much effort. SC (or any sequel) would most definitely sell much, much better on the PC than any console, period.

DS-SC would be fun for UMS games. Not melee. (Actually NO WAY would melee be anything like the PC-SC) DS-SC-UMS would be fun, because you could make like really awesome arcade games with awesome graphics and powerful systems.

How in the world would a Computer and DS hook together? That's almost like plugging a PS2 controller into an XBox (or attempting to) and expecting it to work and be able to play on it.

I doubt they would port a 7 year old game to DS. Plus I think even with dual screens it would be too small

If they did they would probably have to change a lot of thinks which would compromise gameplay.

Way too complicated to be played on DS. Besides seeing that DS does not have the Internet online playing, there is no point. Starcraft basically survives on the multiplayer. And where is it going to store the maps and other things?

The DS does have some kind of internet thing coming out, but I think you have to buy it seperate (unless you get it packaged) and $150 is already too much for a handheld

You can, people always find ways of doing this stuff. I've seen people CONVERT nintendo controllers to play on the computer via a USB port.
