For those of us who live in America, or care about America, today marks the 229th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, which officially marked the beginning of the American nation. So, set off some fireworks, eat a lot of food, drink if you're old enough (or close to it), or otherwise rock out. The USA is a quite a country, and if you live here, don't take it for granted. Have a happy (and safe, they don't always go together 
) holiday.
