This is the link to a program, created by the website programmers themselves, to run and work their websites, news and other functions, while being compatable with PHP 4 and MySQL. Although i lack a large knowledge in PHP and have limited experience of MySQL, i do want to move into WEBSITE design! This program will likely help me in the future.

Yoshi, would you advise me using this program? Or not? Since this website seems firmly in your control you views would be useful, as this could help me in my future as an IT specialist.

Thanks

- Coko

First of all, what web languages do you know so far?

And, have you ever set up any kinds of scripts like this before?

Well; i have limited knowledge of basically anything, but i am a quick learner, and seem to find time to do anything. I wasn't sure if this was for advanced users or not; i guess from what you wrote that i'd have to get more experienced before using a program like this.

No, i haven't set scripts like this up ever before, but everyone has to start somewhere. Unlike the other person who just set a website up, i will be paying for mine, but until it is perfect i won't look into a paid for website.

Do you know any good places with tutorials on them that i could use to get into Web Design, i know most say start at HTML, but i'm sure i don't need to know more than the basics.

My experience lies in programs like Microsoft Access, IE: Databases - SQL, and such programs.

Hmm... Well the best way of learning is by trying smile.gif

I learnt everything from doing basically, I didnt use and books or whatever at any point.

The script is good, if you can get it working smile.gif I'd suggest HTML first though.

PHP is an HTML Preprocessor. So you should know that first tongue.gif
